Joseph JohnsonPolicy Chair
Joseph Johnson currently serves as a Program Development Specialist for the Department of Human and Community Services with the City of New Brunswick. He has gained vital professional experience as a District Field Representative for Congressman Frank Pallone Jr. and internships with the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Office of General Counsel of Monmouth University. In 2018, Joseph started the Lena Harris Foundation, a non-profit organization where he commemorates the life and memory of his grandmother, Ms. Lena Harris. Ms. Harris passed away after a long, tough battle with Lupus. The foundation's main goal is to assist in finding a cure for Lupus and Multiple Sclerosis. This goal is achieved through fundraisers, scholarships, and community-based events. Joseph has earned a B.A in Criminal Justice from Monmouth University located in West Long Branch, New Jersey. He is also a Rutgers Law School student and lives in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He remains committed to community engagement. |
